Infekční komplikace po transplantaci ledviny

Infekce patří mezi hlavní komplikace po transplantaci ledviny se zásadním dopadem na přežití štěpů i pacientů. Infekční komplikace vznikají jako důsledek vztahu mezi expozicí patogenu, stavu imunitního systému, úrovní imunosupresivní terapie a komorbidit pacienta. Prevence, diagnostika a adekvátní terapie jsou klíčové pro zlepšení výsledků transplantace.

Infectious complications after kidney transplantation

Infections are the main complications of kidney transplantation with the crucial impact on graft and patient surival. Infectious complications arise as a result of a relationship between patogen exposure, state of immune system, level of immunosuppressive therapy and patient’s comorbities. Prevention, diagnosis and adequate therapeutical approach play the key role for amelioration of transplant outcomes.
