„Burned out“ testikulární nádor

Spontánní regrese primárního nádoru varlete je vzácný fenomén, který se může prezentovat až metastázou, elevací onkomarkerů a podezřelým nálezem při sonografii varlat. Popis varlete patologem demonstruje morfologické změny kompletní nebo parciální regrese primárního tumoru a nachází jizvení a další charakteristické pozůstatky nádoru varlete, dle literatury nejčastěji seminomu. Na kazuistice prezentujeme naši klinickou, zobrazovací, laboratorní, cytohistologickou a léčebnou zkušenost s tímto případem.

„Burned out“ tumour of testis

Spontaneous regression of a primary testicular germ-cell tumour (GCT) is a rare phenomenon which may be presented by metastases, elevated tumour markers and a suspicious testicular ultrasound image. The histological study of the testicle demonstrates morphological changes of complete or partial tumour regression and finds fibrous scarring and other characteristic changes of complete or partial tumour regression, most commonly seminoma. On this case report we present our clinical, imaging, laboratory, cytohistological and therapeutic experience of this topic.
