Strednodobé výsledky liečby korektívnou osteotómiou tíbie pri poškodení chrupky vnútorného kompartmentu kolenného kĺbu u pacientov v aktívnom veku do 60 rokov

Cieľom štúdie bolo vyhodnotenie klinických výsledkov tibiálnej osteotómie ako liečby mediokompartmentálneho poškodenia chrupky u aktívnych pacientov do 60 rokov. Sledovaná bola skupina pacientov po operácii medzi rokmi 2011-2013. Pacienti boli vyhodnotení a následne sledovaní 1- 5 rokov po OP a bola hodnotená dynamika KOOS ( Knee osteoarthritis score). Autori potvrdili hypotézu dobrého hojenia a zlepšenia klinických ťažkostí po operácii a indikačnej vhodnosti použitia osteotómie u osteoartrózy u aktívnych pacientov do 60 rokov.

Mid term results of knee mediocompartemental chondral damage treatment with high tibial corrective tibial osteotomy in active patient under 60 years of age

The aim of the study was to evaluate short and mid term clinical results of high tibial valgus osteotomy as treatment mediocompartmental osteoarthritis in young active patients under 60 years of age. A group of 30 patient undergone osteotomies in the interval 2011 - 2013. Mediocompartemental osteoarthritis was indication for operation . Patient were retrospectivelly evaluated with KOOS – Knee injurie and osteoarthritis outcome score (15) questionare 1 and 5 years after operation with expectation of clinical improvement after tibial osteotomy. Surgery improoved knee function with reflection in KOOS profile . In this age group we can achieve godd bone healing and acceptale mid term patient satisfaction even with non locking and biomechanically less favourable older implants. High tibial osteotomy is one of the treatment options of osteoarthrosis in patients younger than 60.
