Nežádoucí účinky antipsychotické léčby

Závažným problémem dlouhodobé terapie antipsychotickými látkami bývá výskyt mnohočetných nežádoucích účinků. Z výčtu jednotlivých nežádoucích účinků plyne velká zodpovědnost lékařů psychiatrů za správný výběr antipsychotické látky dle celkového posouzení fyzického a duševního stavu pacienta při zvážení benefitu/rizika dané farmakoterapie.

Adverse effects of antipsychotic treatment

The long term use of antipsychotics with several adverse effects is addressed. The article enumerates these adverse effects to emphasize the importance of thorough treatment according to the overall physical and psychic conditions of the patient with the assessment of benefit/risk ratio of the given agent.
