Súčasné možnosti liečby atopickej dermatitídy

Výsledky početných štúdií ukazujú, že atopická dermatitída je choroba s multifaktorovou etiopatogenézou, v ktorej sa kombinuje geneticky podmienená porucha epidermálnej bariéry a dysregulácia imunitnej odpovede. Liečba preto musí byť komplexná, musí zahŕňať všetky procesy podieľajúce sa na vývoji klinického obrazu choroby – od terapie atopickej xerózy kože, zápalových prejavov, pruritu a prípadnej sekundárnej infekcie, až po zhodnotenie možných provokačných faktorov a poučenie pacienta a jeho rodiny o zodpovedajúcej životospráve a úprave prostredia.

The current therapeutic options of atopic dermatitis

The results of numerous studies suggest that atopic dermatitis is a disease of multifactorial etiopathogenesis, that combines genetically determined defect of the epidermal barrier and dysregulation of the immune response. Treatment must therefore be comprehensive and cover all the processes involved in the development of the clinical picture of the disease – from the therapy of atopic xerosis of the skin. inflammatory manifestations, pruritus and possible secondary infection, to assessment of the potential triggering factors and patient education involving their family about the corresponding modification of lifestyle and living environment.
