Operácie ingvinálnej hernie u detí minimálne invazívnou technikou PIRS

Operácia ingvinálnej hernie patrí medzi najčastejšie chirurgické výkony u detí na chirurgických pracoviskách. Profesor Patkowski opísal minimálne invazívnu operáciu slabinového pruhu metódou PIRS (Percutaneous Internal Ring Suturing). Metóda sa v štúdiách preukazuje ako bezpečná alternatíva klasického otvoreného prístupu v slabine s excelentným kozmetickým efektom.

Inguinal hernia repair in children using the minimally invasive PIRS technique

Surgery for inguinal hernia is one of the most common surgical procedures in children in the surgery departments. Professor Patkowski described a minimally invasive inguinal hernia repair using the PIRS (Percutaneous Internal Ring Suturing) method. The method has been shown in studies to be a safe alternative to the conventional open groin approach with excellent cosmetic effect.
