Antiinfekčná terapia u detí makrolidmi, azalidmi, ketolidmi a streptogramínmi

Základom antiinfekčnej terapie je cielená antibiotická liečba, indikovaná na základe zamýšľanej a neskôr potvrdenej etiológie. Výber vhodnej a účinnej liečby závisí od mnohých faktorov, medzi inými aj od veku pacientov a stavu ich imunitného systému. Správna voľba terapie znižuje mieru rezistencie. Tento článok sumarizuje dôležité faktory pri výbere antimikrobiálnej liečby makrolidmi.

Anti-infectives therapy in children with macrolides, azalides, ketolides and streptogramines

The basis of anti-infectives is targeted antibiotic therapy, indicated for the proposed and later confirmed etiology. Selection of the appropriate and effective treatment depends on many factors, among others, the patient's age and state of their immune system. The right choice of therapy reduces the rate of resistance. This article reviews factors important in the selection od macrolide therapy in infants and children.
