Otázky posmrtného života zamestnávajú od nepamäti myseľ všetkých ľudí, pretože možný, či nemožný život po smrti určuje zmysel i hodnoty časného života. O to viac je to dôležitá téma pri starnúcich a zomierajúcich ľuďoch. Je to však téma rozsiahla, preto sa v tomto článku zameriame len na niektoré dôležité informácie, čerpajúc z posolstva Učiteľky Cirkvi, sv. Terézie z Lisieux, ako aj z učenia Cirkvi a ďalších veľkých kresťanských autorov.

The process of dying and issues of the afterlife in the light of the encyclical Spe Salvi and St. Therese of Lisieux – application to palliative practice

Questions of the afterlife have occupied the minds of all people since time immemorial, because the possible or impossible life after death determines the meaning and values of early life. It is an even more important topic for aging and dying people. However, it is a vast topic, so in this article we will focus only on some important information, drawing from the message of the Teacher of the Church, St. Thérèse of Lisieux, as well as from the teachings of the Church and other great Christian authors.
