Novorodenecká bolesť

V posledných rokoch sa častejšie objavujú články a pôvodné články zaoberajúce sa novorodeneckou bolesťou. Napriek tomu lekárska prax zatiaľ nezodpovedá publikovaným novým poznatkom v tejto oblasti. Našim prehľadom chceme upozorniť na ďalekosiahle následky nedostatočne liečenej bolesti u detí, ako ich dnes chápeme na základe porozumenia vývoja vnímania bolesti. Cieľom bolo tiež dokumentovať možnosti a potrebu diagnostikovania a monitorovania bolesti.

Neonatal pain

An increasing number of reviews and studies concentring neonatal pain have been published in recent years. Despite this, medical practise does not seem to reflect the publication of new scientific concept in the field in question. This review is intended to adress the far-reaching negative physical and psychological sequelae of inadequate neonatal pain control (based on the current understanding of the development of pain perception) in children. The importance of diagnostic pain as well as the methods of pain measurement in neonates.
