RECIDÍVY KARCINÓMU PRSNÍKA – NAŠE SKÚSENOSTI V OBDOBÍ ROKOV 1990 – 2004

Karcinóm prsníka je najčastejšie ochorenie všetkých zhubných nádorov v ženskej populácii. Aj napriek včasnej diagnostike a lepšej terapii sa stále vyskytujú recidívy tohto ochorenia. Naša štúdia podáva prehľad štatisticky zistených prvých recidív karcinómu prsníka. V období rokov 1990 – 2004 sme sa v našej štúdii snažili štatisticky zhromaždiť ženy s prvou recidívou karcinómu prsníka vyšetrených v Prsníkovej ambulancii v Národnom onkologickom ústave a Onkologickom ústave sv. Alžbety. Zistili sme 9 %-ný podiel žien s prvými recidívami karcinómu prsníkov zo všetkých sledovaných žien s karcinómom prsníka v našom súbore. Krivka vekovej distribúcie žien s prvou recidívou karcinómu prsníka bola podobná vekovej distribúcii žien s karcinómom prsníka, ale bola posunutá smerom k vyšším vekovým kategóriám. Tretina všetkých recidív bola do jedného roka a tri štvrtiny do 5 rokov od stanovenia diagnózy karcinómu prsníka. Polovica prvých recidív bola lokálna, tretina boli vzdialené a zostatok boli regionálne recidívy. Z nášho hľadiska by bolo zaujímavé zistiť percento recidív karcinómu prsníka v Slovenskej republike.

BREAST CANCER RECIDIVES – OUR EXPERIENCES WITHIN THE YEAR 1990 – 2004

recidive still appear. Our study gives review of the statistically ascertained first breast cancer recidive. Within the year 1990 – 2004 in our study we aimed to statisticaly found out the first breast recidive in women, which were examided in Breast department in National Cancer Institute and St. Elizabeth Cancer Institute Bratislava. We have detected 9 % of women with the first breast cancer recidive from all women with breast cancer. The curve of age distribution of women with the first breast cancer recidive was similar as the women with breast cancer, but was moved to higher category of age. The third of all recidives were detected till the fisrt year and the three fourth till five eyars from the breast cancer diagnosis. The half of all first breast cancer recidives was local, the third was distant and the rest was regional recidives. From our point of view it should be interesting.to detected how much percent of first breast cancer recidives appear in Slovak republic.
