Článok sa venuje diagnostike, neurobiológii a terapii posttraumatickej stresovej poruchy. Kladie dôraz na využitie pochopenia biologického podkladu poruchy v terapii, a najmä psychoterapii poruchy. Psychoterapiu traumou podmienených porúch člení na tri fázy: stabilizačnú, fázu spracovania traumy a integrácie.

Posttraumatic stress disorder

The article covers the diagnosis of posttraumatic stress disorder, its neurobiology and therapy. The emphasis is on understanding the biological determinants of the disorder and using this understanding in therapy, especially psychotherapy of the disorder. Psychotherapy of trauma-related disorders is divided into three phases: stabilization, trauma-reprocessing and integration.
