Antipsychotika v léčbě farmakorezistentní deprese

Z kontrolovaných klinických studií víme, že přibližně 50 % pacientů nemá adekvátní terapeutickou odpověď na léčbu antidepresivy. Kritériem farmakorezistentní deprese je nedostatečná odpověď na adekvátní léčbu dvěma antidepresivy. V poslední době máme k dispozici řadu údajů o léčbě nebo augmentaci rezistentních depresí atypickými antipsychotiky.

ATYPICAL ANTIPSYCHOTICS IN TREATMENT RESISTANT DEPRESSION

Clinical trials indicate that approximately 50 % of depressed patients have had an inadequate response to antidepressant therapy. Poor response to adequate antidepressant treatment according treatment guidelines has been termed as treatment resistant depression (TRD). Recent data indicate that atypical antipsychotics can serve as adjunctive as well as alternative agents in the treatment of drug-resistant depressive disorder.
