Šetrná dekongestiva

Alergická rýma je onemocnění charakterizované klasickými příznaky nazální sekrece, obstrukce nosní průchodnosti, kýcháním a svěděním. Tyto všechny symptomy se objevují v časové návaznosti na alergenovou expozici. Léčebné postupy zahrnují užití antihistaminik, antileukotrienů, nazálních kortikosteroidů, anticholinergik a dekongestiv. Nazální aplikace je běžně doporučována jako doplňující léčebná metoda i u mnoha dalších onemocnění nosu a paranazálních dutin. Existují recentní důkazy o tom, že nosní aplikace hypertonických solných roztoků je užitečná, dobře snášená, levná a účinná.

Cinsiderate decongestants

Allergic rhinitis is a disease characterized by the classic symptoms of rhinorrhea, obstruction of the nasal passage, sneezing and itching, all occuring in temporal relationship to allergen exposure. Treatment options include antihistamines, leukotriene antagonists, nasal corticosteroids, anticholinergics and decongestants. The use of nasal irrigation is currently recomended as an adjunctive treatment modality in many other sinonasal diseases. Recent evidence suggests that nasal irrigation with hypertonic saline is useful, tolerable, inexpensive and effective.
