Alergénová imunoterapia v liečbe alergickej rinokonjunktivitídy u detí

Alergénová imunoterapia (AIT) predstavuje jedinú dostupnú liečebnú metódu liečby IgE mediovaných alergických ochorení, ktorá zasahuje do patofyziológie a modifikuje priebeh ochorenia. Európska akadémia alergie a klinickej imunológie nedávno publikovala praktické odporúčania, ako uskutočňovať špecifickú imunoterapiu založenú na dôkazoch.

Allergen immunotherapy in the treatment of allergic rhinoconjunctivitis in children

Allergen immunotherapy (AIT) represents the only currently available treatment for IgE-mediated allergic diseases that targets the underlying pathophysiology and has a disease-modifying effect. The recently published European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) clinical practice guidelines provide evidence-based recommendations for AIT.
