HERPES SIMPLEX – AKTUÁLNE POHĽADY NA LIEČBU

Infekcie vyvolané vírusom Herpes simplex patria medzi najčastejšie sa vyskytujúce vírusové ochorenia kože. Väčšina z nich prebieha latentne, bez prejavov, ale čoraz viac narastá počet klinicky manifestných ochorení spôsobených oboma formami vírusu – HSV1 aj HSV2. Z tohto dôvodu sa neustále rozširujú aj liečebné možnosti. Článok sa zameriava na aktuálne dostupné terapeutické možnosti v SR.

HERPES SIMPLEX – ACTUAL INSIGHT INTO THE THERAPY

Herpes simplex virus infections belong to the most frequent viral infections of the skin. The course of majority of them is latent, without clinical manifestation, but the number of clinically manifestated diseases increases (caused by both HSV1 and HSV2 type of virus). For this reason new antiviral medications have expanded treatment options. Actual therapeutic options available in Slovak republic are discussed in this article.
