V druhej časti pohľadu na nové odporúčania liečby sepsy sa venujeme ďalším krokom v podpornej liečbe septických pacientov. Väč-šina týchto odporúčaní bezprostredne súvisí s postupmi všeobecne platnými pri liečbe kriticky chorých pacientov. Článok nadväzuje na publikáciu v predchádzajúcom čísle nášho časopisu: Pohľad na nové odporúčania na diagnostiku a liečbu sepsy – od definície cez identifikáciu k antimikrobiálnej liečbe (1).

Review of new recommendations for diagnosis and treatment of sepsis – support of circulation, ventilation and implementation of the other standards in sepsis

In the second part of the review of new recommendations for diagnosis and treatment of sepsis we address article to the other components of supportive treatment of septic patients. Majority of these recommendations are taken out of guidelines related to diagnosis and treatment of critically ill patients generally. This article is continuation of the one from the last issue of this journal: Review of new recommendations for diagnosis and treatment of sepsis – from definition through identification to antimicrobial treatment (1).
