SURGICAL TREATMENT OF CHRONIC ISCHEMIC HEART DISEASE
Autors present an overwiew of basic principles of surgical treatment of chronic ischemic heart disease. Starting from the short historical review, through the main indication criteria of revascularization therapy to the basic technical aspects and principles of the operation. Main mechanical complications of ischemic heart disease requiring surgical treatment are mentioned. The results of surgical treatment are summarized in the end.
