Acute pulmonary embolism in prehospital emergency care
Acute pulmonary embolism (APE) is a relatively common and life-threatening disease with variable manifestations from benign to fatal. The article is focused on the obvious predisposing risk factors of pulmonary embolism, symptoms, risk stratification of sudden cardiac arrest and timely management of pulmonary embolism in prehospital emergency care.
