Via retrograde dorsal artery approach for revascularization in patient with critical limb ischemia – case report
Optimal treatment strategy in patients with critical limb ischemia represents early revascularization. Often multisegmental arterial disease with chronic occlusions of affected lower extremity makes need for various access combination and recanalisation strategy. This case report shows possibility of popliteal artery chronic occlusion recanalisation in case of antegrade femoral approach failure via retrograde dorsal artery approach (SAFARI technique).
