Lymphedema and treatment possibilities

Lymphedema as a diagnose with an increasing tendency, has a strong position in today‘s conditions. A large proportion of patients are often with clear symptoms and medical history underdiagnosted and not treated correctly. Mostly they are also beeing examined by different specialists without proper treatment as an outcome. The most important part of treatement in chronic disease which lymphedema also is, is the patient´s compliance. Our work contains information about lymphedema, it deals with its diagnostics and therapy. We discuss the widely available indicated complex decongestive therapy for lymphedema. We believe that information about diagnostic and treatment of lymphedema will improve with more information that would be available.
