Not every swelling and redness of scrotum belongs to the operating room
Acute idopathic scrotal edema is a rare benign cause of scrotal edema and erythema with typical sonographic findings. It is more common in the pediatric population than in adults. And it doesn’t require surgical exploration. Authors present a case report of six-year-old boy with a recurrence of this disease. The study focuses on a brief overview of the issues, clinical manifestations and how to diagnose the acute idiopathic scrotal edema.
