Penile curvature and its treatment
Penile curvature are congenital or acquired. Congenital curvatures without hypospadia usually do not require a solution. The most common cause of the acquired curvature is Peyronie's disease. It is a penile disorder with fibrous plaque in the tunica albuginea, which is manifested by pain, curvature, constriction or shortening of the penis and is particularly evident in the penis in the erect state. Treatment is complicated and requires the patience of the patient and the doctor. The article focuses primarily on the conservative possibilities of therapy, we bring an overview of individual methods and their effectiveness.
