Multiple sclerosis and schizoaffective disorder
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic demyelinating disease affecting mostly young adults as a consequence of autoimmune and neurodegenerative precession of the CNS, going in several different forms. In addition to the typical neurological symptoms in patients suffering from MS also appear cognitive impairment, mood disorders and psychosis. The current incidence of psychotic disorder in the course of MS has the character of case reports. Currently we do not have reliable and clearly formulated therapeutic approaches for the treatment of psychiatric symptomatky during the MS. Submitted interesting case reports, in which must work together neurologist and psychiatrist.
