Clinical trials in psychiatric practice

The results of clinical studies have become the core for EBM (Evidence Based Medicine) which is essential for the application of new medical treatments and medicaments into our clinical practice. Carrying out clinical testings in practice is a very complex process due to their precise rules. The examiner follows mainly GCP (Good Clinical Practice) and a detailed protocol. The demandingness of the execution of these studies is growing every year. Mainly the technical and time demandingness, increasing number of trainings and certificates. Giving an insight into the execution of clinical testings could be very useful for every doctor who happens to work with their results.
