What was the cause of pain in a 13-years old girl?
Herpes zoster is caused by reactivation of latent varicella-zoster virus in ganglia of the nervous system. The disease is rare in childhood. The case report describes a 13-years old girl, with a pain lasting for 7 days and a wide differential diagnosis of the problem.
