Supervision as an effective support tool of hospices’ employees in Czech Republic

The main goal of this research was find out, if hospices’ employees are interested in supervision and if they see it as an effective support tool. In case that they are participating on regular supervision sessions, how these are led and which topics may be opened. Research was realized with mixed method. Qualitative research was made in two hospices first. Based on this, electronic questionnaire was sent to another 34 hospices in Czech Republic. Supervision is probably not accepted as an effective support tool in Czech hospices yet. Participation of employees on supervision is mostly mandatory and most often is attended by nurses and organizations’ management.
