HODGKIN`S LYMPHOMAS – CURRENT DIAGNOSTICS AND TREATMENT
Hodkin`s disease is a malignant lymphoma, in most cases originating in pre-apoptotic B-cells of the germinal center of lymphatic folicle. diagnosis is based on imunohistochemical and histological examination of the bioptic sample.currently the curability rate of the Hl is around 80 %, that is the why the strategy of treatment is led by effort of reaching maximal therapeutic effect with minimal occurrence of the adverse effects, mainly late adverse effects (secondary malignancy, infertility). division into three groups is an excellent tool for the choice of 1st line treatment. early, good prognosis stage; early stage with unfavorable prognosis (intermediate) and advanced stage. Treatment of relapsed and primary refractory patients remains problematic. In the article usual treatment options are listed.
