Up-to-date ESGO/ESTRO/ESP guidelines in the management of early stages of cervical cancer
The authors present a review of the up-to-date ESGO/ESTRO/ESP (European Society of Gynaecological Oncology/European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology/European Society of Pathology) guidelines in the management of early stages of cervical cancer. The assessment of diagnosis and extent of the disease are the initial steps for the treatment. The therapy should be discussed at the multidisciplinary setting and centralized in the personally and technically equipped institutes for every oncogynecologic patient also in Slovakia, and not only for cervical cancer cases.
