Selected types of non-pharmacological treatment of dementia
Dementia therapy is based on two mutually influencing non-pharmacological pillars and pharmacotherapy. Individual non-pharmacological approaches can address one or more problem areas related to advanced disease. Non-drug interventions by a close person can be equally effective in influencing the symptoms that affect a patient with Alzheimer‘s disease, such as drug therapy.
