OVER THE COUNTER ANALGESICS

Over the counter (OTC) analgesics belong to the most frequently used group of drugs. Considering their wide use, the contributions is aimed at the benefit and risk of their administration. The contribution deals with characterization of the effects, side effects, contraindications and drug interactions of acetylsalicylic acid, ibuprofen, naproxen, and acetaminophen.
