Are general practitioners for adults aware of the risk of prescription non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs?
Introduction: The fundamental objective of the analysis was to detect experience of general practitioners with adverse events non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and the report of that event. Material and methods: For assessing risk perception, we used a structured questionnaire method. 100 general practitioners were approached. Results: Harvested, properly completed and included in the evaluation were 92 questionnaires. Conclusion: The results showed that pharmacovigilance limping behind the European standard for many reasons.
