BURN-OUT IN MEDICAL PRACTICE; SOURCES OF ITS PREVENTION AND TREATMENT

It is often construed as the result of particular personality traits, working environment and social background. Recognition of the role of factors that precipitate this condition and predispose individuals to develop and perpetuate the syndrome is of primary importance for its prevention and treatment. Amongst those factors the individual value system, stress management potential and social relationships are considered to be the most significant ones.
