Non-muscle invasive bladder cancer

Non-muscle invasive bladder cancer comprises about 70 % of all newly diagnosed bladder cancer, and includes tumors with stage Ta, T1 and carcinoma in situ. It is a heterogeneous group of diseases differing mainly due to the variability of recurrence. Clinical management and treatment should not be standardised, but adapted to the risk groups.
