Suicidal patient in pre-hospital care
The theme of suicide is inextricably connected with psychiatric practice, bud recently also with the practice of emergency crews and general practitioners. In the article are defined basic terms: suicide, suicidal attempt, selfkilling, suicidal behaviour risks, presuicide syndrome. The paper further reviews suicide methods, myths related to suicide and options in solving suicide crisis.
