RECENT POSSIBILITIES OF SURGICAL TREATMENT FOR MORBID OBESITY
Obesity is with pleasure called epidemy of the third millenium. Its surgical treatment is worldwide fully accepted for long term weight reduction and concomitant comorbidity improvement. There are used three methods and their modifications, basically. Gastric banding, gastric bypass and biliopancreatic diversion. Author reffers in a review about possibilities of surgical treatment of morbid obesity. The marks of future possibilities are done, as well.
