Sine syndrome in systemic lupus erythematosus (clinical and immunological)

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic inflammatory disease characterized by varied clinical picture and the presence of autoantibodies. In some patients, however, we encounter situations when there are present autoantibodies typical of SLE and no clinical signs of disease or vice versa, when the patient has a typical clinical course of disease and there is an absence of presence of antinuclear antibodies. Only the regular monitoring of clinical and immunological manifestations of the disease allows early diagnosis and subsequent initiation of treatment.
