SECONDARY PREVENTION OF ISCHEMIC CEREBROVASCULAR ACCIDENTS

Cerebrovascular accident is a clinical diagnosis characterized by rapid development of a focal (or global) disorder in the cerebral circulation. Acute cerebrovascular accident is one of the most important causes of morbidity and mortality in the world. There is quite small range of effective therapeutic options during the acute development of the accident, therefore the focus is on preventive care and secondary prevention.
