Risk factors of atherosclerosis: lipids and their relation to atherosclerosis
Participation of lipids together with other major risk factors of atherosclerosis was confirmed by experimental, epidemiological and clinical evidence, however, additional evidence is needed to confirm role of new risk factors in causality or prediction of cardiovascular risk for majority of the new factors.
