Antiplatelet therapy of stroke
Stroke is clinical diagnosis, in which focal (or global) disorder in the cerebral circulation is observed. Acute stroke is one of the common causes of morbidity and mortality worldwide. Primary and secondary prevention is very important in the therapy of stroke. Antiplatelet drugs (acetylsalicylic acid, clopidogrel and dipyridamol) are often used according to guidelines of the European Stroke Organisation.
