Prevention of recurrent respiratory infections with cough present

Recurrent respiratory infections with cough present an important health and social problem. Cough may arise from several causes – allergy, chronical infection – mycoplasma, chlamydie, bordetella pertussis, bronchial astma. A protective effect may have suitable immunostimulatory preparations, for example beta-glucans.
