Pressure ulcers are a serious complication, which arises during hospitalization, at home or in nursing homes. Treatment of incurred bedsores despite various modern types of materials for local treatment is often difficult, time consuming, associated with complications and does not always lead to a complete cure. Guidance of family or nursing staff in nursing homes, on risk factors, the need to adjust diet and follow the repositioning plan, by general practitioners, can improve prevention, or prevent the progression of already existing pressure sores.
