PREHOSPITAL MANAGEMENT OF PATIENTS WITH ACUTE MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION: POSSIBLE APPROACH OF THE GENERAL

Prehospital phase of AIM is an extremely important integral part of the hospital management of patients with acute myocardial infarction . General practitioner (first contact) often plays a key role in this phase . The article is about the complexity of the prehospital management of the acute myocardial infarction with emphasis on particular diagnostic and therapeutic approach, which can be done by the general practitioner on the first contact with a patient with suspected acute coronary syndroma with elevation of the ST segment in ECG . We think, that many of these informations could be beneficial for the everyday practise of the general practitioner with the ambition to improve prehospital management of patients with acute myocardial infarction.
