Disorders of menstrual cycle
Disorders of menstrual cycle during fertile period of woman are not rare. Many causes exist from inherited, genetic disorders like Turner syndrome or syndrome of testicular feminization, organics causes like for example tumor of hypophysis, adrenal, uterus or ovaries, disturbances of thyroidal function to functional hypothalamic disorders like amenorrhoe by extreme physical exertions or by mental stress. It is important, that also general practitioners are informed about major causes, diagnostic possibilities and therapy.
