PULMONARY MYCOSES

Pulmonary mycoses are the most common manifestation of invasive fungal infections. Population of immunocompromised patients is preferably contacted with this infection. Candida spp. and Aspergillus spp. are the most important pathogens despite the emerging role of other yeasts and molds. Epidemiology, risk factors, risk population, clinical feaures and recent therapeutical recommendations of pulmonary fungal infections are reviewed.
