Authors of this article are focused on the theme of alcohol dependence in Slovakia, known fact and figures. Highlight to the causes of addiction, alcoholism diagnosis and follow-up clinical conditions of the disease. They point to the consequences of drinking addicts and address on the treatment of addiction.
