ONYCHOMYCOSIS – ETIOPATHOGENESIS, CLINIC AND THERAPY
The occurrence of mycotic infections of the skin and its adnexa has a rising trend.The causal agents are not only dermatophytes and candida but to an increasing extent opportune fungal microorganisms. Onychomycosis represents approximately 50 % of all nail disorders and it is an important source of mycotic infection.
