NON-INVASIVE DIAGNOSTICS OF CARDIAC RHYTHM DISTURBANCES
The elementary aim of non-invasive cardiology within arrhythmology is the evaluation of left ventricular function, arrhythmogenic substrate detection, evaluation of the electrical cardiac instability triggering factors and influence of the autonomic nervous system on the heart activity. Echocardiography represents the essential method to evaluate the presence of underlying cardiac disease, leading to arrhythmias.
Keywords: echocardiography, ECG Holter monitoring, markers of sudden cardiac death.
