THE POSSIBILITIES OF OVER THE COUNTER DRUGS USE IN VENOUS SYSTEM DISORDERS

Venous system disorders are very frequent. They afflict approximately one third of the adult population. They represent a serious health and economic problem. In the article we deal with the varices of lower extremities related to vena saphena magna, vena saphena parva and branches of superficial venous system. First, they are understood as an cosmetic defect, but in advanced disease they are often associated with inflammation and chronic disorders of the venous system. Therefore the varices prevention and adequate treatment of their complications is important. Compressive treatment and partially pharmacotherapy of varices alleviate in early stages the clinical symptoms and prevent from the development of venous insufficiency and thus put off the need of the surgical treatment.
