Possibilities of application of neuropsychology diagnostics and rehabilitation in general practice

The objective of the paper is to provide general practioners information on the contents and the importance of neuropsychology, as well as a short insight on its origins and its position in Slovakia. The work offers a brief clarification of differences between clinical psychology and neuropsychology, and their diagnostic possiblities. The principal information is meant to be a general outline of how this medical discipline can help general practitioners in their out-patient´s department´s practice in solving particular practical problems they are facing in patients with different types of cerebral damage.
