Modern treatment of obesity according to the new international guidelines
Recently two documents EASO (European Association Study of Obesity) were published. These are Management of obesity in adults: European clinical practice guidelines and Multidisciplinary European guidelines for surgery for severe (morbid) obesity, which are very important for obesitology in the usual daily praxis. Both materials were translated to Slovak language and were reviewed by Slovak obesity specialists. These materials are very practical and therefore seem to be applicable for obesity management also in Slovakia.
